Go Green!
Being mid February we are a quarter of
the way into the semester and it is the beginning of exam time and for many of
us that means staying up to study. This leaves
you up eating snacks, fourth meals and if you’re like me consuming lots of Biggby
coffee. Drinks and snacks loaded with
sodium and sugar provide you with a quick burst of energy only to leave you
feeling more sluggish later or the next morning.
Be Spartan Green and then some by incorporating dark green fruits and
vegetables into your snacks and meal time that will leave you with lasting energy throughout your day. (Unfortunately this does not mean a midnight run for Shamrock
shakes from McDonalds.) You can use the
